— Clear pricing, no surprises

What do our caravan air conditioning services cost?

Supply & Installation

Install pricing varies because no two caravans or setups are the same. As a guide, supply and installation starts from $2,800. The final price depends on the brand you choose, the size of the air conditioner, how your caravan is built, and how complex the installation is. Once we know your setup, we’ll talk you through the options and give you a clear price before any work starts.

Repairs & Diagnosis

Repairs are charged at a $120 call-out fee, plus $120 per hour. This covers diagnosis, testing, and the repair work itself. Some issues are quick fixes, others take longer, but we’ll always explain what’s involved and get approval before continuing.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Cleaning and maintenance starts from $260. The exact price depends on the condition of the unit and how much work is required. A proper clean improves performance, reduces smells, and helps prevent bigger issues down the track.

Phone Advice

You’re welcome to call us for advice, and there’s no charge for that. We’re always happy to help where we can. That said, if giving advice over the phone could put you, your caravan, or anyone else at risk, we won’t guide you through it remotely. In those cases, we’ll recommend an on-site visit so the issue can be handled safely and properly.

The Gympie and District Historical Society formed in 1965 and opened the first museum building, a converted mine water tank, in 1971. The site covers roughly 4.5 hectares with more than 20 exhibition spaces and 16,000 items catalogued.

Dining and Heritage Along Mary Street

Mary Street began as a double line of prospectors’ tents pitched alongside the diggings at Nash’s Gully and grew into Gympie’s main street. It is now a strip of cafés, restaurants and shops lined with gold-era buildings. Among them is the former Bank of New South Wales at number 242, designed by Richard Gailey and built between 1890 and 1891, which was added to the Queensland Heritage Register in 2011.

See the Gympie Music Muster

The Gympie Music Muster runs across four days in Amamoor Creek State Forest, around 20 minutes from Gympie, on the last full weekend in August. It started as a community fundraiser in 1982, is owned by the Apex Club of Gympie, and has raised more than $20 million for community groups and charities. Camping is included with most tickets, with room for caravans and camper trailers.

Take a Steam Train Ride on the Mary Valley Rattler

The Mary Valley Rattler departs the historic Gympie Station on a 40 kilometre return run to Amamoor behind a restored C17 steam locomotive, taking around three hours. Services operate Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, passing through Dagun along the way. At Amamoor the locomotive turns on the original turntable, and volunteer guides provide commentary on the railway and the region.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you service the whole Gympie Region?

Yes. That includes Araluen, Chatsworth, Jones Hill, Tamaree, Two Mile and Victory Heights, along with the rest of the suburbs on our areas list. If yours is not there, send us a message and we will let you know. We are on the road Monday to Friday.

What caravan air conditioning services do you offer?

We handle three things: installs, repairs, and cleaning and maintenance. That covers supplying and fitting a new air conditioner, diagnosing and repairing one that has stopped cooling or is not running right, and servicing filters, coils and drainage to keep it working properly. We work on caravans, RVs, motorhomes, campervans and vans.

Can you supply the air con, or do I need to buy it myself?

We can supply it. We work with all major and lesser known caravan air conditioning brands, and we recommend what suits your caravan’s roof space, layout and how you use it, rather than what happens to be easiest for us. If you have already bought an air conditioner, we are happy to fit it.

Can you tell me over the phone if it needs replacing?

We can talk it through and ask a few questions to narrow down what is going on, then suggest the likely next step. If a visit is the way to go, we will find a time that suits and sort it from there.

Can you work on my caravan at a caravan park or storage yard?

Yes. Being fully mobile is the whole point of how we work. We come to your home, your storage yard, or your caravan park site with the tools, testing gear and common parts on board, so there is no towing, no drop-off, and no waiting on a workshop slot.
