— Clear pricing, no surprises

What do our caravan air conditioning services cost?

Supply & Installation

Install pricing varies because no two caravans or setups are the same. As a guide, supply and installation starts from $2,800. The final price depends on the brand you choose, the size of the air conditioner, how your caravan is built, and how complex the installation is. Once we know your setup, we’ll talk you through the options and give you a clear price before any work starts.

Repairs & Diagnosis

Repairs are charged at a $120 call-out fee, plus $120 per hour. This covers diagnosis, testing, and the repair work itself. Some issues are quick fixes, others take longer, but we’ll always explain what’s involved and get approval before continuing.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Cleaning and maintenance starts from $260. The exact price depends on the condition of the unit and how much work is required. A proper clean improves performance, reduces smells, and helps prevent bigger issues down the track.

Phone Advice

You’re welcome to call us for advice, and there’s no charge for that. We’re always happy to help where we can. That said, if giving advice over the phone could put you, your caravan, or anyone else at risk, we won’t guide you through it remotely. In those cases, we’ll recommend an on-site visit so the issue can be handled safely and properly.

Spend the Afternoon at Hunter Valley Gardens

Hunter Valley Gardens at Pokolbin spreads across 14 hectares, with ten themed gardens connected by around eight kilometres of walking paths. It opened in 2003 and is open seven days a week, closing only on Christmas Day. Seasonal events run through the year, including the Christmas Lights Spectacular.

Dine on Local Produce at Muse Restaurant

Muse Restaurant sits at the Hungerford Hill winery on Broke Road, Pokolbin. Opened in 2009 by chef Troy Rhoades-Brown, it serves contemporary Australian set menus built around Hunter Valley produce, with a five-course menu from Wednesday to Saturday and a seven-course menu on Saturday evenings. Bookings are required.

Meet the Animals at Hunter Valley Wildlife Park

Just outside Cessnock at Nulkaba, Hunter Valley Wildlife Park keeps native and exotic animals, from kangaroos, koalas and wombats to lions, giraffes and meerkats. Walk-through habitats and hand-feeding suit families, and it opens from 9am to 4pm, with daily opening during NSW school holidays.

Step Back in Time at Walka Water Works

Near Maitland at Oakhampton, Walka Water Works centres on an 1887 pumping station with a tall chimney and ornate brickwork, set beside a lake within a recreation and wildlife reserve. Walking tracks, picnic areas and more than 140 recorded bird species draw visitors, though parts are currently fenced for remediation, so check the Maitland City Council page first.

Wander the Historic Streets of Morpeth

On the Hunter River near Maitland, Morpeth was once one of the country’s busiest inland river ports. Its streets keep their sandstone gutters and colonial buildings, many now home to galleries, antique shops and cafes. The Morpeth Heritage Walk covers 25 points of interest, and the town was the birthplace of Arnott’s biscuits.

Set Up by the Water at Lake St Clair

North of Singleton, Lake St Clair was formed by the damming of Glennies Creek and runs as a recreation park managed by Singleton Council. It suits caravanners well, with powered and unpowered camping by the water, a boat ramp, and fishing for Australian bass and golden perch, plus swimming and water sports.

Explore Colonial Farm Life at Tocal Homestead

At Paterson, Tocal Homestead holds a collection of colonial farm buildings on a site farmed since the 1820s, including an 1867 barn designed by colonial architect Edmund Blacket. It is a working farm, and the heritage site opens to the public on Sundays from March to November, 10am to 3pm, for self-guided audio tours and picnics on the lawns.

See the Smoking Vents at Burning Mountain:

Near Wingen at the northern edge of the Hunter, Burning Mountain sits within a nature reserve managed by NSW National Parks. Beneath it, a coal seam has been smouldering for an estimated 5,500 years, making it the oldest known coal fire of its kind. A walking track of about four kilometres return leads to the smoking vents.
