— Clear pricing, no surprises

What do our caravan air conditioning services cost?

Supply & Installation

Install pricing varies because no two caravans or setups are the same. As a guide, supply and installation starts from $2,800. The final price depends on the brand you choose, the size of the air conditioner, how your caravan is built, and how complex the installation is. Once we know your setup, we’ll talk you through the options and give you a clear price before any work starts.

Repairs & Diagnosis

Repairs are charged at a $120 call-out fee, plus $120 per hour. This covers diagnosis, testing, and the repair work itself. Some issues are quick fixes, others take longer, but we’ll always explain what’s involved and get approval before continuing.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Cleaning and maintenance starts from $260. The exact price depends on the condition of the unit and how much work is required. A proper clean improves performance, reduces smells, and helps prevent bigger issues down the track.

Phone Advice

You’re welcome to call us for advice, and there’s no charge for that. We’re always happy to help where we can. That said, if giving advice over the phone could put you, your caravan, or anyone else at risk, we won’t guide you through it remotely. In those cases, we’ll recommend an on-site visit so the issue can be handled safely and properly.

— WORTH STEPPING OUT OF THE VAN FOR, WHILE YOU’RE IN THE SOUTH

While you’re in Southern Melbourne Suburbs

St Kilda Foreshore & Luna Park

The St Kilda foreshore is one of Melbourne’s most recognisable stretches of coastline. Walk along the beach, grab something to eat by the water, or head out on the pier for an easy afternoon. Luna Park sits right on the foreshore and has been running since 13 December 1912, making it the oldest continuously operating amusement park in Australia. It is worth a look even if you are not riding anything.

Brighton Beach & the Bathing Boxes

The 93 heritage-listed bathing boxes on Dendy Street Beach in Brighton date back to the 1860s, originally built so beachgoers had somewhere private to change. They sit about 13km south of the Melbourne CBD and are now among the most photographed spots on the entire coastline. Free to visit, easy to walk to from Brighton Beach station, and worth an hour of your time.

Sandringham Coastal Trail

The coastal trail running from Brighton through Sandringham to Beaumaris covers 17 kilometres along Port Phillip Bay. Along the way there are signboards featuring notable Australian artists who painted this stretch of coastline, as well as several sculptures. The track passes clifftops, sandy beaches, and open water views without ever straying far from a coffee stop.

Mordialloc Pier & Beach

Mordialloc Beach runs for 4 kilometres along Port Phillip Bay, 24km south-east of Melbourne CBD. The 300-metre pier at the northern end is a well-used spot for walking and fishing, with views across the bay. The foreshore reserve, cafes, and the main shopping strip along Main Street are all within easy walking distance.

Moorabbin Air Museum

Located at Moorabbin Airport, the Moorabbin Air Museum was established in 1962 and holds one of the most significant collections of Australian aviation history in the country. The collection covers over 50 aircraft including World War II combat planes, jet fighters, and civilian airliners. Visitors can access several cockpits on the day.

Karkarook Park, Moorabbin

Karkarook Park on Warrigal Road in Moorabbin is built around a 15-hectare lake formed from a former sand mine, completed in 2004. The park has 6km of walking and cycling trails, picnic areas, and free electric barbecues. The lake is regularly stocked with Rainbow Trout and Murray Cod by Victoria Fisheries.

Mentone Beach & Foreshore

Mentone Beach is a 1.6-kilometre stretch of sand sitting 21km south-east of Melbourne CBD, backed by high bluffs. The beach is patrolled by a surf lifesaving club and has a section set aside for off-leash dogs. The shopping strip along Como Parade West is a short walk from the beach with cafes, bakeries, and local stores.

Springvale Botanical Cemetery

Springvale Botanical Cemetery on Princes Highway was established in 1901 and covers 169 hectares, making it the largest cemetery in the Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust. The grounds include approximately 12,000 trees and Australia’s largest memorial rose gardens. The site is open daily to the public for walking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you cover all Southern Suburbs of Melbourne?

Yes, we travel to all Southern Suburbs of Melbourne, including Brighton, Sandringham, Cheltenham, Moorabbin, Oakleigh, Mount Waverley, Mordialloc, Mentone, Springvale, and everywhere in between. If you are unsure whether we cover your suburb, send us a message and we will let you know.

What caravan air conditioning services do you offer in the Southern Suburbs?

We offer three main services across the Southern Suburbs, installations, repairs, and maintenance and cleaning. Whether you need a new unit fitted, an existing one diagnosed and repaired, or a thorough clean before your next trip, we come directly to you Monday to Friday, fully equipped to handle the job on the day.

How do I know if my caravan air con just needs a clean or a full repair?

In many cases a proper clean is the right starting point. Blocked filters, mould build-up, and dirty coils can all cause poor performance without there being an underlying fault. We assess the unit first, carry out the clean, and then test all motors, sensors, refrigerant levels, and electrical components. If a repair is needed after that, we will explain what is involved and give you a clear recommendation before any work starts.

Do you work on all caravan and RV types in the Southern Suburbs?

Yes, we work on all caravan and RV types including caravans, motorhomes, campervans, and vans. Old or new, simple or complex, we have the experience to handle it. If you have any specific questions about your setup, give us a call and we can talk it through before booking.

How often should I get my caravan air con serviced?

As a general guide, a yearly service is recommended to keep your caravan air con running efficiently. If you use your caravan frequently, it is also worth cleaning or checking the filters every month or so depending on usage. Regular servicing helps prevent bigger issues down the track and keeps the unit performing well for longer.
