— Clear pricing, no surprises

What do our caravan air conditioning services cost?

Supply & Installation

Install pricing varies because no two caravans or setups are the same. As a guide, supply and installation starts from $2,800. The final price depends on the brand you choose, the size of the air conditioner, how your caravan is built, and how complex the installation is. Once we know your setup, we’ll talk you through the options and give you a clear price before any work starts.

Repairs & Diagnosis

Repairs are charged at a $120 call-out fee, plus $120 per hour. This covers diagnosis, testing, and the repair work itself. Some issues are quick fixes, others take longer, but we’ll always explain what’s involved and get approval before continuing.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Cleaning and maintenance starts from $260. The exact price depends on the condition of the unit and how much work is required. A proper clean improves performance, reduces smells, and helps prevent bigger issues down the track.

Phone Advice

You’re welcome to call us for advice, and there’s no charge for that. We’re always happy to help where we can. That said, if giving advice over the phone could put you, your caravan, or anyone else at risk, we won’t guide you through it remotely. In those cases, we’ll recommend an on-site visit so the issue can be handled safely and properly.

— Worth getting out of the van for, while you’re in the Gold Coast

while you’re in the Gold Coast

Burleigh Head National Park Coastal Walk

Burleigh Head National Park sits on the headland at Burleigh Heads, between Burleigh Beach and Tallebudgera Creek, protecting 27.6 hectares of rainforest, eucalypt forest, pandanus groves, and rocky foreshore. Two tracks, the Oceanview walk and the Rainforest circuit, loop around the headland in about an hour. The Tumgun lookout is a good spot to watch for humpback whales through winter and spring, and along the way you may see brush-turkeys, water dragons, and sea-eagles. The headland is also a significant cultural site for the Traditional Owners.

Explore the Gold Coast Hinterland

Springbrook National Park lies in the Gold Coast hinterland, around 45 minutes inland from Surfers Paradise, and forms part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area, listed in 1994. The park sits on the remnants of the ancient Tweed Volcano and is known for its waterfalls and walking tracks. Purling Brook Falls drops about 100 metres and is reached by a four kilometre circuit with a suspension bridge, while the short loop at Natural Bridge leads to a basalt cave lit by glow worms after dusk. The Best of All Lookout takes in ancient Antarctic beech forest and views towards Mount Warning.

Dining Along Burleigh and Broadbeach

Burleigh Heads and Broadbeach are two of the Gold Coast’s established dining precincts, both set close to the sand and easy to reach. Burleigh pairs beachfront cafes with restaurants running through its village streets, a short stroll from the headland and the patrolled beach. Broadbeach packs restaurants, cafes, and casual eateries into a compact, walkable grid beside Pacific Fair, One of Queensland’s largest shopping centres. Broadbeach sits on the G:Link tram line, and both precincts are an easy stop while you’re in the area, covering everything from quick coffees to long sit-down meals.

Evening Dining and Entertainment in Broadbeach

Broadbeach comes alive after dark around The Star Gold Coast on Broadbeach Island, the coast’s only casino and a fixture of the area for over 35 years. The precinct brings restaurants, bars, and live entertainment together under one roof, including a 24-hour gaming floor, an Event Centre hosting shows and concerts, and award-winning restaurants. It connects by covered walkway to the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre and sits between two G:Link tram stations, with Pacific Fair and the wider Broadbeach dining streets just a short walk away.

Sunrise by the Beach

The Gold Coast’s beaches face east across the Pacific, so the whole coastline, close to 40 kilometres of it, catches the sunrise straight over the water. Oceanfront pathways run behind the sand at Burleigh Heads and Surfers Paradise, giving early risers a clear outlook along the foreshore. Many nearby cafes open early for a coffee before the day warms up, and through winter and spring you may spot humpback whales passing offshore. The beaches here are patrolled, so it is also an easy place to start the day with a walk or a swim.

See the Famous Surfers Paradise Beach

Surfers Paradise is the Gold Coast’s central beachfront, a long patrolled stretch of sand backed by the region’s high-rise skyline and fronted by the Esplanade. Rising above it is Q1, short for Queensland Number One, home to the SkyPoint Observation Deck on level 77, where a 360-degree outlook reaches the New South Wales border to the south and the hinterland to the west. For a bigger challenge, the SkyPoint Climb is billed as Australia’s highest external building climb. The beach itself is a well-known spot for swimming and surfing year round.

Gold Coast Theme Parks

The Gold Coast has Australia’s biggest concentration of major theme parks, most of them a short drive inland from the coast. Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet’n’Wild sit at Oxenford, Dreamworld and WhiteWater World at Coomera, and Sea World out on The Spit at Main Beach. Between them they cover rides and roller coasters, water slides, and marine and animal presentations, which makes the area a full-day option for families. Most run daily, so they are easy to fit into a trip whatever the weather is doing.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary sits at Currumbin, around 20 minutes south of Surfers Paradise, and has been running since 1947, when Alex Griffiths began feeding wild rainbow lorikeets on his flower farm. Now owned by the National Trust and heritage-listed, it spreads across 27 hectares of rainforest and bushland, home to koalas, kangaroos, crocodiles, and native birdlife. The wild lorikeet feeding still runs twice daily, and the grounds include a wildlife hospital, a heritage miniature railway, and the Lost Valley rainforest precinct.

What brands of caravan air conditioners do you work with?

We work with all major and lesser-known caravan air conditioning brands. Whether you have a common air conditioner or something less typical, we carry out installations, repairs, and servicing based on what suits your caravan and travel setup, rather than what is easiest for us. We can also recommend a suitable brand if you are fitting a new one.

How much does a caravan air conditioning service cost on the Gold Coast?

Cleaning and maintenance starts from $260. Repairs are charged at a $120 call-out fee plus $120 per hour, which covers diagnosis, testing, and the repair itself. Supply and installation starts from $2,800, depending on the air conditioner and your caravan. We talk you through the options and agree a clear price before any work starts.

Can you install or service my caravan air con at a Gold Coast caravan park or holiday park?

Yes. Being fully mobile, we come to wherever your caravan is parked, whether that is a Gold Coast caravan park, a holiday park, your home, or a storage yard. It saves you towing the van anywhere, and it is handy if you are visiting the Gold Coast and need the air con sorted while you are here.

Can you fit a new air con to an older caravan?

Yes. We regularly fit new air conditioners to older caravans and RVs. We assess your van on site, check the roof space and layout, and recommend an air con that suits how it is built and how you travel. Once we know your setup, we give you a clear price before starting so there are no surprises.
